There is only a brick wall separating the "smoke and horns of Baharestan" from the "song of Negarestan's nightingales." Stepping through the garden gate, it feels like leaving the busy Tehran behind and entering Grandma's house courtyard. This is Rouhi Negarestan Restaurant; where we serve "authenticity" in Rouhi (Zinc) dishes right before you. There is a rule here: no forks or fancy pretenses! You must roll up your sleeves and take a "Loghmeh" (wrap) of Kebab and Dizi with a spoon and Sangak bread, old-school style, so the flavor sinks into your soul. At noon (12 to 4:30 PM), when the sun hits the turquoise pool, our lunch spread is set in our cozy, historic hall. If you crave it at night or are too busy, our takeaway kitchen stays lit until late to send that same aroma to your doorstep.

Friend, pay attention! At the "Negarestan Hangout," we only set tables for lunch (from 12 PM to 4:30 PM) to serve you in person. However, for takeaway orders, our stove is on continuously from 12 PM to 10:45 PM to send out food.

We are right in the historic heart of Tehran: Baharestan Square, Daneshsara Street, Shariatmadari Street, inside Negarestan Museum Garden.
+ How is the restaurant atmosphere? Do you have tables in the courtyard?
Look friend, the story of the restaurant is different from the cafe. At Rouhi Negarestan Restaurant, we’ve spread the table inside one of those magnificent historic brick mansions that was once the gathering place for the greats and literati of this land. We didn't set tables in the courtyard intentionally, so you can first take a heart-filling stroll through the museum garden and among the trees to soak it all in. Then, retreat into the cool embrace of this grand mansion, under the high Qajar ceiling, to feast on a "hearty" (Mashti) Kebab. So, the feast is inside; the joy and strolling are outside!
+ Do you have meat-free food at Negarestan?
Of course! We look out for everyone. In our menu, there is a section called " Rouhi Sabz" (No-Tail-Fat / Vegetarian) with dishes like Kashk Bademjan and Kufteh, which you can enjoy both dine-in and online.
+ How much is the entrance fee for Negarestan Garden and is it related to the restaurant?
? Since the restaurant is inside a "Museum," you need to get an entrance ticket (10,000 Tomans in 1404) at the gate, which goes to the garden management, not us. But it's worth it; first, you take a hearty stroll through history, then come to us to recharge
+ . Is the restaurant open on days when the museum is closed (like Mondays)?
Yes, friend! The doors of Rouhi Restaurant and Cafe are always open to you. Even if the museum is closed, you can enter the quiet, secluded garden with the same ticket and be a guest at our table.
+ How can I see the menu and prices of Negarestan Restaurant?
To see what's in the pot today and check the prices, just hit the "View Menu" button right here. Photos and prices of all dishes (from Pan Kebab to Gheimeh Nesar) are up to date.
+ What are the reservation conditions for birthdays and work events at Negarestan?
If you want to come for a large group or a special event, you are most welcome. You can coordinate in person or call our contact center to reserve tables for you.
+ Can we take photos in the restaurant?
Is it even possible to come to Negarestan and not take photos? Every corner here is a picture frame. Take photos, laugh, and if you like, tag us on Instagram so we can enjoy them too.
+ . Is smoking and Hookah allowed?
There is no news of Hookah at Rouhi Restaurant. As for cigarettes, the pleasant open space of the garden is available. Just be a sport and throw the filter in the bin so the garden stays clean.
+ . Is the heating and cooling okay?
Yes! We are ready for all four seasons. In summer, coolers and tree shades cool you down, and in winter, heaters and the warmth of the kitchen keep you toasty.
+ Can we order from the Cafe and Restaurant menu simultaneously?
Look friend, our Cafe and Restaurant are wall-to-wall neighbors but have separate accounts. The Restaurant menu (Kebab & Food) is different from the Cafe menu (Coffee & Cake). You can have lunch at the restaurant, then go next door to the cafe for tea.
+ How to order by phone or online?
We made it easy. For phone orders, call 02168334 (Contact Center). For online orders, hit the "Order Food" button at the top of this page to register in a jiffy.
+ Is food served in Rouhi (Zinc) dishes?
Yes, the name says it all! All dine-in meals come to the table in nostalgic Rouhi dishes. Important note: We don't have forks here! You must eat with a spoon, hand, and bread, just like the old-school folks.
+ How long does takeaway delivery take?
Usually between 45 to 70 minutes. Of course, you know Baharestan traffic; sometimes it might go up or down a bit. But we promise to wrap and send the food so it reaches you hot and fresh.
+ What are the food contents and sides?
In the online menu, we've written what's inside each dish. For delivery orders, we will include cutlery and sides (Yogurt, Pickles, etc.) only if you tick and order them in the pack.
