Have you ever been wandering through a mall and suddenly craved authentic homemade food? That taste of a home-cooked meal, the aroma of which makes you weak at the knees. Rouhi Restaurant Group has opened its newest branch for just that reason, here in Opal Shopping Center in Sa’adat Abad, to create a special Iranian feast for you when you return tired, hungry, and full of shopping bags. A feast with “Gheymeh Majlesi,” “Chelo Kebab Bazari,” steaming hot tea, and the sound of laughter from other guests who, like you, have come to join the Rouhi party. In this article, we’ll take a tour of Rouhi Opal Sa’adat Abad: we’ll see what the interior space and food variety are like, and why everyone gathers around a table in the heart of a luxury shopping center to bring the story of the Iranian feast back to life. If you’re looking for a friendly and authentic hangout spot with delicious food and a nostalgic old-school vibe, stay with us until the end of this story. I promise you’ll want to visit Rouhi Bazari sooner rather than later.
For the love of Rouhi, let me tell you that the story began when we wanted to spread the authentic Rouhi flavor a little more throughout Tehran. Opal Sa’adat Abad? It was the best place! A clean and modern shopping center with lots of friendly people who might suddenly crave “Gheymeh Majlesi” and “Dizi Sangi” amidst their daily shopping and work. Rouhi has always aimed to make its guests feel good. We’ve always said: food isn’t just about filling your stomach; it’s a part of life, it’s love itself. That’s why we came to the ninth floor of Opal and made it the new home for “Rouhi-chis,” and our motto is still the same: Eat with love.
Well, my friend, why Rouhi? Because from day one, we committed to authentic Iranian dishes. We wanted everything we cooked to have the scent of home. Our Koobideh is a real Koobideh, our Gheymeh is a real Gheymeh, and our Abgoosht? Oh! It’s a feast for the soul.
But why Sa’adat Abad? Because this place is full of great people who are looking for warmth and quality amidst their daily shopping and work. Opal itself is like a city! Easy parking, a beautiful facade, lots of colorful stores and shops with easy access. In short, everything is ready for you to come, sit down, enjoy a plate of “Chelo Kebab” and a sip of traditional Doogh, and then leave in a good mood. Rouhi Opal is a new hangout spot for gatherings with friends and family. You can even bring your business meetings here. It doesn’t matter who you come with; you’re our guest here!

When you step onto the ninth floor of Opal and get close to Rouhi Bazari, the entrance to the kitchen, with its arched vaults, beautifully tiled patterns, and traditional writings, takes you back to old Tehran. A red Paykan car has burst out of the kitchen. Who could resist taking a souvenir photo with this red Paykan, a shared symbol of nostalgia for us Iranians? In front of the counter, there are rows of clay pots with geraniums and lilies all the way to nasturtiums. It’s as if you’ve stepped into your grandma’s courtyard! An old “Zourkhaneh” bell also stands proudly at the kitchen entrance, and if you need anything, just ring it, and we’ll be at your service. If you turn your head to look inside the kitchen, we have a big metal samovar with a porcelain teapot on top of it, the sight of which makes you crave sugar-cubed tea. I can’t even begin to describe the cleanliness of the kitchen. Everything shines. All the kitchen equipment is modern and stainless steel, and the staff in their special uniforms put the Rouhi-chis’ minds at ease about cleanliness.
Oh, by the way, I almost forgot to mention, in the middle of this very kitchen, we have a traditional oven that gets hot with your arrival, Rouhi-chis. The aroma of fresh Taftoon bread puffs up right in front of the guests’ eyes, turns golden, and is served piping hot on your table. What more could you want, my friend?!
Our baker stands like a champion behind the oven, next to everyone else, flattening the dough with his own hands and sticking the bread to the oven’s wall. At Rouhi, everything has to be just as it was in the old days; with warmth, authenticity, and love.
In Rouhi’s Opal branch, right in the middle of a chic and modern shopping center, with strip lights on the ceiling and bubble chandeliers that are all modern and up-to-date, Rouhi is still the same as it was. That special corner with the aroma of homemade “Ghormeh Sabzi,” the clay pots, the wall writings, and the red Paykan bursting out of the kitchen has created a hangout spot for friends and family. Here, eating is a feast. So whenever you’re in Sa’adat Abad and Opal, remember that Rouhi is waiting for you.
If you flip through the Rouhi Opal restaurant menu just once, you’ll understand that you’re not just eating food here; you’re living and making memories. A colorful spread is laid out for you, from authentic “Chelo-Gosht Bebaei” to the gangster “Ghanjeh Kebab.” Everything you could wish for is here: from royal “Dizi” and juicy stews to “Koobideh” and “Chenjeh.” In one corner, there’s “Salad Shirazi” and “Zeytoon Parvardeh,” and in another, there’s cool local “Doogh” and “Baharnarenj” syrup. Everything is ready to be served on the table and refresh your soul. Let me put your mind at ease; there’s no watered-down, lifeless food here! Everything we have is authentic and royal. Rouhi’s “Chelo Kebab” needs no introduction! Once you try the “Rouhi Bazari Koobideh,” you’ll never go back to fake Koobidehs. And what if you have a spoonful of “Gheymeh Nesar” or a great “Ghormeh Sabzi” next to your meat? Wow! It’s perfect for gatherings with friends and family.
Dizi? Oh, my! Rouhi’s Dizi isn’t just food; it’s a cure for the soul! Pour its broth into a bowl, dip Sangak bread in it, and squeeze a lemon over it. Who could say “I’m on a diet” after seeing Rouhi’s Dizi?!
Joojeh Kebab? Boneless, delicious, and fragrant. We marinate chicken thighs and breast in saffron, skewer them, and put them on the fire, and its fragrant aroma fills the entire ninth floor of Opal. In short, Rouhi’s chefs are more professional than that; they cook everything in Full HD and bring it piping hot to your table.
Look, my friend, “Rouhi Opal” isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a feast! A feast where you can invite the whole family, from your grandpa to that little family member who was just born. This place has a big hall. The tables and chairs are arranged so that any group can fit. Whether you want to celebrate a birthday or have a family gathering. Everyone can fit together here. You can invite up to 1500 people. Of course, you need to coordinate with the food court management beforehand. For example, for a birthday, you can easily arrange a few tables together, bring candles and balloons, cut the cake in the middle of the hall, and sing “Tavalod, Tavalod, Tavalodet Mobarak…” with your friends. And no one will give you a dirty look, because here, everyone is a guest, everyone is a family. So if you’re looking for a place for a gathering or a birthday that everyone will say, “What a great place!” then the location is clear: Opal, ninth floor, Rouhi Bazari restaurant.
If you’re craving Rouhi Opal’s Gheymeh, Koobideh, and Dizi, know that getting to it is easier than you think. The location? Right in the middle of Sa’adat Abad: Meydan-e Ketab, Opal Shopping Center, ninth floor—that’s all there is to it! On the dedicated page of Rouhi Opal, you can easily reach your destination using Balad, Neshan, and Google Maps.
If you have a car, don’t worry about parking. You can park your car in the Opal Shopping Center’s parking lot without any worries, then take the elevator directly to the ninth floor. From there, the smell of rice and stew will guide you. If you plan to go to Rouhi Bazari Opal by metro or BRT, that’s not a problem either. Meydan-e Ketab metro station is the closest station, and for BRT, remember the Pol-e Modiriyat station. After a short walk, you’ll reach the gate to the gluttons’ paradise.
At Rouhi restaurant, our goal isn’t just to fill your stomach; we want to create an authentic and memorable experience for our guests. Every time you step into Rouhi, it’s as if you’re going to a warm and friendly feast with old friends. Here, every bite is a story from old Tehran. We cook with love so that you can enjoy your meal with love. Because every bite at Rouhi means a commitment to authenticity, quality, and most importantly, respect for the customer. So come, eat with love, and eat heartily; because at Rouhi, every bite matters, and every moment is authentic.
